Porch Boxes
What is a porch box?
A porch box is an insulated metal box with a lid.

Do I need a porch box?
We recommend porch boxes to protect your delivery and insulate it against heat and cold. The standard size and function of the porch box is also convenient for your driver. A refundable $50 deposit will be applied. Alternatively, you may supply your own cooler.

Bottles
Do I have to pay a deposit for the glass bottles?
We do not charge a bottle deposit to our home delivery customers. However, we request that you return our bottles to your driver in a timely manner.

How do I return my bottles?
Thank you for helping us to reuse the glass bottles! Just rinse the bottles and put them out in the porch box to be picked up by your delivery driver. Please remove the caps. We then wash, sanitize, and put them back into circulation.

Delivery
Do you deliver in my neighborhood?
We deliver to the following towns in the Merrimack Valley : Andover, North Andover, Dracut, Lowell, Chelmsford, Tyngsboro, Westford, Methuen, and Tewksbury; and in Hudson, Pelham, and Windham, New Hampshire. Contact us if your town is not listed.

How often do you deliver?
Deliveries are made on a weekly basis.

Is there a delivery charge?
Now Shaw Farm home delivery customers can save by purchasing more!   We offer our products at the same competitive prices that our farm store customers enjoy,  with the delivery service funded with a delivery fee that decreases as you purchase more.
Purchases of $10.00 or less, $6.25 delivery fee.
Purchases of $10.00 to $15.00, $5.25 delivery fee
Purchases of $15.00 and over, $4.25 delivery fee

What if I’m not at home when the delivery comes?
If you will not be home, your driver will place your items in a porch box or a cooler. Be sure to arrange for the milk to be put in a refrigerator as soon as possible.

How do I place an order?
The best way is to order through the Shaw Farm website.  However ordering by phone is still possible at 978.957.0031

What is a standing order?
A standing order is a group of items you feel you will need each week. This order will not need to be called in or emailed in each week.  We will keep it on file.  However, should you NOT need an order or need to alter your standing order please be sure to call us the day before.  A trip to a home where there is a standing order that has not been cancelled ahead of time will result in a $5.25 delivery charge.

Shaw Farm offers a wide variety of delicious food items to go along with our dairy products. Please see our order form:

What are the forms of payment for Home Delivery?
Credit card is the preferred payment method. Payment by cash or check needs to be approved by sending a request to lyndieashaw@gmail.com
